Scot Sax Soul Revue
Philadelphia Soul In Nashville!
Born and bred in Philadelphia, Scot Sax couldn't help but have soul in his DNA. In fact, he's been called «The Philly Prince». The Scot Sax Soul Revue is a seat-o-the-pants party of a show with a top-notch band and 5 back-up singers!
But, who is Scot Sax?

Over the years, songwriter/performer Scot Sax has toured with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, co-written a Grammy-winning song for Faith Hill and Tim McGraw and had his songs in blockbusters like American Pie. His first band, Wanderlust (RCA) even opened for The WHO! Scot and fellow Philly bandmates will also be doing a very special tribute to 70's era Philly Soul, as only a native Philadelphian can!!! Expect unbridled fun(k) with songs like «Love Train», «Backstabbers» and more!

THE RAD TRADS
When The Rad Trads met in the East Village in the Spring of 2012, they were looking to play with the best musicians they could find. Making rent playing gigs in every bar and beer hall that would have them, the guys dominated New York City with their soulful American music, punk-rock energy & showmanship, powerful horns, driving rhythm section, and four captivating lead vocalists. Almost 5 years later, the Rad Trads have headlined on four Continents, and opened for acts such as Lake Street Dive, Tom Jones, Charles Bradley, Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, The Lone Bellow, Margaret Glaspy, Con Brio, and Dustbowl Revival. They have toured Europe seven times, the Middle East and played in 14 countries and 33 U.S. States. Following the release of their first full length album (Must We Call Them Rad Trads — Dala Records) in May 2016, the band is slated to release their second LP of original music in the Spring of 2018. The record is highly anticipated in it’s creative direction and sound. Members of The Rad Trads have performed or recorded with St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Deer Tick, Lee Fields, Jonathan Batiste, Sarah Jarosz, David Duchovny, Red Baraat & even Paul McCartney as well as leading their own critically acclaimed bands.

Suzie Brown
“Sometimes you don't know what's going to make you happy. You just have to be open to what comes along.”

No one understands this more deeply than the Nashville-based singer-songwriter, who is also an Advanced Heart Failure/Heart Transplant cardiologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After years of working hard for success in the medical field, Brown discovered a relentless pull towards music that has now yielded five albums, a succession of songwriting awards, featured placement of her music at retailers like Starbucks and the Gap, and invitations to TEDMED and other conferences around the country to speak about finding a vulnerability through music that makes her a better doctor.

Montreal-born and Boston-raised, Brown wrote her first song while in a research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and launched her musical career in Philadelphia, releasing three solo albums. In 2014 she moved to Nashville, where along with her work at Vanderbilt, she found a community of co-writers and collaborators that pushed her writing even further. She has since released Our Album Doesn’t Like You Either with her husband musician Scot Sax and had two daughters, making her pursuit of balance and reflection all that much more important.

Her latest release Sometimes Your Dreams Find You was born in that space of uncertain transition followed by confident calm--she no longer feels the need to choose one part of herself over another. “For the first time in my life, I don't feel like I'm working towards something else,” she says. “When someone asks me what I want to do in five years, I kind of just want to keep doing this.”
