Poetry Unbound is an outdoor open-mic event held on the back patio of Bound Booksellers. Our featured poet for July is Nathan Spoon, Nathan will be sharing poems from his collection, Doomsday Bunker, along with other poems. Come hear Nathan read and then share your own poem or two at the open-mic. Signups start at 6:30 p.m. Featured poet reads at 7:00 p.m. Open-mic starts at 7:30 p.m. This is an outdoor event. Please bring lawn chairs for seating. If it rains, the event will be moved indoors. So come no matter the weather.
Nathan's Bio: Nathan Spoon is the author of Doomsday Bunker (Swan World, 2017) and My Name is Gretchen Merryweather (hardPressed poetry, 2017). His publications include Poetry, Mantis, Oxford Poetry and the anthology What Have You Lost? (HarperCollins). He is a Senior Editor of X-Peri and has read his poetry at the University of Pennsylvania, Vanderbilt University and the ALSCW Conference.
